Submissions

Welcome to the submissions page for the Curtis Brown Books Department.

Not all of our agents accept submissions via the portal, but prefer submissions to be emailed. Please consult our agents page for details.

If you have written a novel or a proposal for a non-fiction book, please fill in the form below, copying and pasting your material in the relevant fields.

We no longer accept physical manuscripts.

In order to submit your work via the portal, you will need the following:

• Cover Letter
• Synopsis of up to 1,500 words
• Sample material of up to 10,000 words

Once you have submitted your novel you should then hear from us within ten to twelve weeks. If you don’t hear from us after this time, please get back in touch and let us know something is amiss.
