We’re thrilled to announce that on Thursday 26th November Curtis Brown Creative will be taking part in Curtis Brown’s Discovery Day Online event. We will host a Twitter Q&A for authors and give creative-writing tips between 2pm and 3.30pm that afternoon.
Anna Davis, author, agent and director of Curtis Brown Creative, will be joined by published graduates Antonia Honeywell, author of The Ship (Weidenfeld & Nicolson), and Kate Hamer, author of The Girl in the Red Coat (Faber), to take your questions and give their advice about the process of writing a novel.
To take part, simply log in to Twitter and tweet your questions using the hashtag #CBCTips between 2pm and 3.30pm on Thursday 26th November.
Discovery Day Online is the first Twitter festival for new writers to be hosted by Curtis Brown and sister agency Conville & Walsh as part of National Novel Writing Month (#nanowrimo). It provides unpublished authors with the opportunity to pitch their novels to agents, take part in an exclusive book group event with author Rachel Hore, join the Curtis Brown Creative Q&A session and ask the Curtis Brown agents questions about the publishing process.

As well as expert teaching from published authors, all our three- and six-month novel-writing courses offer dedicated modules on submitting your novel to literary agents – and include sessions on writing a synopsis and preparing a covering letter.
